Batumi

Batumi, without a doubt, is the main center of beach tourism in modern Georgia and is one of the most important port cities on the entire Black Sea coast. The developed tourism infrastructure and the availability of branded hotels allows city guests to have a good time relaxing and enjoying the variety of entertainment, including casino services.

The swimming season in Batumi usually begins at the end of May, when the sea water temperature reaches around +18℃ . At the peak of the summer season, the sea warms up to +27 degrees. The air temperature in the summer months ranges from +24℃ to +30℃ (sometimes higher). In Batumi, there are many cafes and restaurants offering traditional Georgian and European cuisine, including two McDonalds. The main attractions are located in the Old Town and Batumi Boulevard.

Batumi International Airport is located 7 km from the city center, and the railway station is only 3.5 km away. The seaport, as well as the bus stations (the old and the new station) are located within the city.

Batumi city beach is a seven-kilometer line of the Black Sea coast, that can be reached in 5 - 15 minutes. Here you can rent sun loungers and beach umbrellas. Throughout the beach there are several rescue points. Since the beach is adjacent to Batumi Boulevard, after swimming you can walk along shady coniferous alleys, relax in cafes or bungalows, and visit nightclubs. Walking along the Batumi promenade during sunset is a special pleasure. A bicycle path of the same length is adjacent to the promenade.
