Dancing Fountains (Old Boulevard)

Sculptures and Installations

In 1977, three colorful fountains were installed at the main entrance of the boulevard with the combined efforts of Giorgi Erkomaishvili, a prominent Georgian architect, and Armenian engineers. The surrounding area soon became the most lively part of the boulevard.

In 2007, the fountain underwent a large-scale reconstruction, today it fills the environment in the boulevard with music.

The musical fountain surrounded by the wax statues of "Salamuriani boys" is one of the most attractive places for tourists.
