The castle was probably built in the 18th-19th centuries. It is located in Nigazeuli village of Shuakhevi municipality, on Kuftagheli hill, which is also called Nabegvar. The fence looks like a rectangle with six pillars. The wall had to have an entrance from both the north and the south. It is not visible where the northern door was, because this side is completely destroyed. The entrance is not visible in the southern part either, the rampart is also quite dilapidated in this place. The castle-wall is built with flat stones, the layout is beautiful and horizontal.
Selim Khemshiashvili's two-story house stood on a high place in the middle of the castle-wall yard, which was burned down by the Ottomans after his death and later rebuilt.
