Otholta Castle - is erected on the river. At the confluence of Chvanisskali and its right tributary Otholtisskali, on the top of the advancing Archangel mountain. From all corners of the fort, territories spread out at a distance of 25-30 km can be seen. The castle undoubtedly played a big role in the defense system of the Achariskali valley. He looks straight ahead. The castles on the border of Lower and Upper Adjara at the confluences of Chvanisskali and Achariskali valleys.
XI-XIII centuries are considered to be the time of construction of the castle, but as a result of archaeological excavations, it is believed that it was still in BC. They should have been used in IV-V centuries
