Sarfi St. Church of Andrew the First cross-domed church in Adjara,Sarfi,Georgia near the Turkish border.The foundation of the cross-domed church named after Andrew the Firstborn was laid in 2008 and opened in 2012.The temple is unique in that all the ancient Georgian ornaments carved on the walls of various Georgian churches-monasteries located in the territory of Tao-Klarjeti are engraved on it.The existence of a temple near one of the country's main borders has a symbolic meaning in addition to its direct purpose.
