The first tourist shelter with additional infrastructure has been constructed in the Shuakhevi municipality, located in the alpine zone on the Jvarimindori plateau (approximately 2200 meters above sea level). The longest networked route, an 88 km trail known as "Kintrishi-Gomismta-Tskhemlisi-Khabelashvilebi," passes through Jvarimindori. This location serves as a crossroads for several routes, connecting the municipalities of Shuakhevi, Kobuleti, and the neighboring Guria region. Therefore, these tourist shelters offer travelers a place to rest and stay during long hikes. The project has been implemented in compliance with eco-standards, featuring four cottage-type shelters (each designed for accommodating 2 people), along with additional amenities such as a designated area for campfires, an outdoor shower, restroom facilities, a covered picnic pavilion, and swings.
