The carved ornaments on the balcony of the mosque, the mihrab and the wooden posts left at the entrance point to the high quality of craftsmanship. The mihrab, balcony and entrance of the monument are distinguished by tulip-shaped and other floral ornaments carved on wood, while the pillars and cornices are decorated with zigzags, geometric patterns and other ornaments. The painting of the dome of the Gegelidze mosque is traditional: the motifs characteristic of the end of the nineteenth century are used in the composition: flower braids, fabric garlands and medallions.
