The history of the Museum of Religion begins in 2004, at that time the exposition presented in the museum was limited to a small list, which reflected information about various religious trends in photographs.

  In 2023, the museum underwent renovation/rehabilitation works, the interior and exterior were changed, it was equipped with appropriate furniture and equipment, a new exposition was created, which includes religious books, ritual items and clothing of Orthodoxy, various currents of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism and Catholicism, rare items depicting the past Photographs, Orthodox icons, bas-reliefs, enamels made with various author's techniques, the exposition is also diverse.

  With the artifacts related to Batumi of the Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church and the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as the necessary clothing and models for religious rituals. It should be noted that the exposition presents the anaphora of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.

The artifacts presented in the exposition of the Museum of Religion provide museum visitors with information about the history of Batumi and the identity of the Georgian tradition, in terms of religious tolerance. It takes into account the interests of all ethnic groups, because in the 21st century the establishment of democratic values, including the formation of tolerant views, is of particular importance.

The museum is located in the vicinity of Tamar Mefi Avenue.

students 3 GEL;

School students 1.5 GEL.
