Uchkho arched bridge

Description

Location: The bridge is located in Khulo Municipality.

7 km from the center of Khulo.

The length of the bridge horizontally from pier to pier is 7.5 m. Width at the middle is 2.8 m. The thickness of the arch is 40 cm, height above the water level is 4 m. The facing stones are arranged vertically on top of each other. The bridge, with the outline of an open semicircular arch, is quite wide and rests on piers dug into the rocky rock on both banks. The carriageway is covered with stone slabs. At the end of the 20th century, the local population reinforced the bridge with concrete, which significantly changed its original appearance.
