“Batumi Card” is a universal tool for complete and comfortable travel in Adjara. In addition to being a discount card, it can also be used to pay for travel on Batumi municipal buses.
Upon purchasing the discount card, you get 4 rides for municipal buses. While the discount feature of the “Batumi Card” is valid for 10 days, its transport pass functionality is unlimited in time and can be used for any number of people. Consequently, the 4 bus rides included with the purchase can be used even after the discount period expires.
To use the transport pass, simply tap it against the validator on the bus. If you wish to pay for more than one passenger, repeat the process according to the number of people.
After using up these rides, you can top up your balance using Bank of Georgia's EXPRESS PAY terminals. The bus fare is 0.70 GEL.
You can use the transport pass in municipal buses moving around the territory of Ajara. There are buses with different work schedules. Mostly municipal transport runs from 07:00 to 22:00.
