The border resort village is located 20 km from Batumi. From here you can see neighboring Turkey. Mountains are located just a few steps from the sea. Sarpi beach is small, but this is the only place in Ajara where you can jump into the water from a cliff. Accommodation is possible both in hotels and in the private sector. You can also rent sun loungers and beach umbrellas here. Sarpi is the place of residence of the ancient Georgian ethnic group - Lazi, who still have preserved elements of the most ancient culture and language. Here you can see the St. Andrew waterfall. In addition, there is a customs terminal in Sarpi, through which you can get to Turkey on foot or by car.
