Gonio Apsaros Archaeological Architectural Museum Reserve

Description:

On the territory of Gonio-Apsaros fortress, where the materials of the Hellenistic period, public buildings, pottery, bronze, silver, gold items, copper coins of Justinian I and others are preserved, as a result of archeological excavations. Part of the material is exhibited in the exhibition hall. The Gonio treasure is especially noteworthy, which mainly consists of unique jewelry and is currently preserved in the Adjara State Museum.
