Dandalo Bridge


The arch bridge of Dandalo dates from the IX-X centuries. The bridge is located 60 km from Batumi, near the village of Dandalo (Keda municipality), not far from the central highway. The bridge is distinguished by a thin arch and perfect proportions. The main material that was used in the construction of the bridge is rock. The length of the bridge is 35.9 meters. The Dandalo Bridge is considered the best example of the construction of arched bridges in Georgia.

How to get there:

• By minibus Batumi-Dandalo, as well as minibuses that go to Shuakhevi and Khulo. The fare 3-5 GEL.

• By taxi 70-90 GEL

• As part of an organized or individual excursion.
