The museum was founded in 2007, in the building where the old “Batumi Office” of the Nobel brothers' Branobel oil company was housed in a century ago. The museum’s collection features interesting materials about the activities of Nobels in Batumi, the cultural and economic development of Adjara in that period, the tea industry, tobacco production, winemaking, etc.
